French Placement Test for the Fall Semester 2025<\/span><\/h4>\n

French Placement Test for the Fall semester 2025 will be held as below.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can take the Placement Test, anytime when you wish, from 10th September 2025,9:00 to 17th September, 2025, 10 am (JST).<\/span><\/p>\n

The test will be conducted online. You will not have to come to the SFC campus in order to take this test. However, please ensure access to the internet by yourself. Makeup test will not be scheduled for any reason.<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to apply for French Placement Test for the Fall semester 2025, please send an email to the address indicated below as soon as possible, in order to take the Placement Test before the dateline, with e-mail subject line: \u201cFrench Placement Test (Fall 2025)\u201d.<\/span>

<\/span>Upon receipt of your email during the period of acceptance, we will send to you a message indicating the details of the test.<\/span><\/p>\n

For new students enrolled in the Fall Semester 2025<\/span><\/h4>\n

Please follow the procedure indicated for first-year students in the first semester. If you are permitted to take French Basic course 1 or French Intensive course 1 after the lottery, please register for designated class without submitting an application for French courses.<\/span><\/p>\n

For current students<\/span><\/h4>\n

You must submit an application for French courses or take the French Placement Test in the following cases:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u30fb If you passed French Basic 1 in the previous semester (Spring semester 2025), you can submit an application for Basic 2 in the Fall Semester 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u30fb If you passed French Intensive 1 \/ Basic 2 in the previous semester (Spring semester 2025), you can submit an application for French Intensive 2 in the Fall Semester 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u30fb If you passed French Intensive 2 in the previous semester (Spring semester 2025), you can submit an application for French Intensive 3 in the Fall Semester 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u30fb If you passed French Intensive 3 in the previous semester (Spring semester 2025), you can submit an application for French Intensive 4 in the Fall Semester 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u30fb If you passed French Intensive 4 by the Spring semester 2025, you can register for French skill course(s) in the Fall Semester 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u30fb Current students who want to take Basic 1 or Intensive 1 must submit an application following the instructions indicated on syllabus on K-LMS.<\/span><\/p>\n
